The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) of Sri Lanka is inviting applications from citizens for project-based contract vacancies. Available Vacancies
- Kandy North Pathadumbara Integrated Water Supply Project:
- Project Secretary: Requires G.C.E. (O/L) with specific credit passes, G.C.E. (A/L) passes, a secretarial course, and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or being a Chartered Secretary with 4 years of experience. The salary is Rs. 160,000/- plus Cost of Living allowance.
- Management Assistant (Accounts): Requires successful completion of the first examination of CASL/CIMA/ACCA, second examination of HNDA/CMA, or full qualification of AAT (minimum NVQ 5).
- Anuradhapura North Water Supply Project – Phase II:
- Management Assistant.
Application Details
- Closing Date: All applications must be received by 19th July 2026.
- Submission: Applications must be sent via registered post to the respective Project Director’s office. The post and location must be marked on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be under 65 years of age. Candidates from the public or corporate sectors must channel their applications through their current Head of Organization.
- Selection: Shortlisted candidates based on qualifications and experience will be invited for an interview.
- Terms: Appointments are on a contract basis, initially for one year, renewable annually based on performance.
