Jobs in Germany - Job Vacancies in Germany For Foreigners

Looking for German job vacancies? Well, there’s a new way to find them starting from June 2024 called the Chancenkarte, or Opportunity Card.

So, how can you get it?

  1. If you’re already recognized as a skilled worker in Germany because your professional qualification meets the requirements of Section 18, Paragraph 3 of the Residence Act, you can apply without any extra hassle.
  2. Or, if you score 6 marks or more in the marking system they use.
    • If you’ve got a university degree or at least 2 years of vocational training,
    • And if you’ve got 3 years of experience plus either A1 level in German or B2 level in English, you’re good to go.

If you’re going with the first method, make sure your professional qualification is recognized in Germany. It’s often required for job opportunities there, especially for professions like nursing, medicine, teaching, and law.
