10,000 Malaysian Jobs will Open for Sri Lankans in October 2022 because Sri Lankan government will be signing a contract with the Malaysian government to get that opportunity.

A diplomatic delegation led by the Malaysian Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan and the Malaysian Director General of Labor will visit Sri Lanka in October to sign the agreement to open up 10,000 Malaysian jobs to Sri Lankan workers. All terms including contract duration, and salary is to be decided.

The Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara and the Malaysian High Commissioner in this country Mr. Dato Tan Yang Thai discussed at length yesterday (22nd) in a meeting held at the Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment about the signing of the agreement regarding the provision of these employment opportunities to the workers in Sri Lanka. The High Commissioner officially informed the Minister that these ten thousand jobs will be provided as per the request made by Minister Manusha Nanayakkara from the Malaysian Government.
